Adding and Deleting Reports

On installation, a number of Standard Reports are included.

These reports can be augmented by Customised reports provided by Triaster or created by an XML/XSLT expert in your organisation. It is also possible to remove reports which are not applicable to the organisation.

  • You will require access to the server that the Triaster Server is hosted on.

  • Then you will need to navigate to the Reports folder via the file explorer on the server. The Normal path is C:\Triaster\TriasterServer2011\Reports. Please note that the Triaster folder may not be on the C drive.

  • To add files, place the corresponding .XML and .XSLT files in the folder. The files should not have the same name as any existing files, as the Standard Reports are overwritten on each upgrade.

    NOTE:The .XLST file is referenced in the .XML, so if you have to rename them, you will need to amend the reference in the .XML file.

  • To remove files, simply delete the corresponding .XML and .XSLT of the reports you do not want. However we would STRONGLY recommend keeping a copy of these reports on the server, or somewhere accessible, just in case they become useful in the future. It may also be useful to keep a list of those that you have deleted, as they will reappear when you upgrade or re-install the Triaster Server.
